Flexible Quota Approvals:
New Opportunities Until End of 2025
On October 14, 2025, Malaysia’s Home Ministry announced that foreign worker quota applications will be assessed case by case until December 31, 2025.
This applies to plantation, agriculture, and mining, as well as 10 sub-sectors, including security, metal & scrap, cleaning, wholesale, F&B, warehousing, cargo handling, construction under government projects, and new MIDA-approved investments.
